The Mythic Mechanics Singleton cube list aims to include one of each of Magic’s 300+ game mechanics and abilities. Mythics and Rares are the preferred rarity, and each card is chosen to be GREAT on its own. The self-sufficiency of every card affords players the chance to draft more freely, and avoid battling friends for strict archetypes and specific combos. Discover old mechanics for the first time and build new synergies that no one has seen yet.
The choice to keep the list singleton (only one of each card) was made to increase variety and avoid piles of un-used commons. It also doesn’t hurt to experience the “Wow-Factor” of opening a pack full of high-value rares and hard-to-find mythics.
Multiplayer-based mechanics and abilities that don’t apply to 1v1 duels are currently being omitted to allow room for more cards that are usable in head-to-head play.
